ABOUT THE ARTIST: My father began teaching me the art of Tiffany-style stained glass when I was just eight years old. As much as I enjoy this work, I hadn't created any glass projects since my infant sun Kali was killed in 2016. Five years on from Kali's death, I only recently felt the inspiration to enter my home studio and begin creating again. Returning to this craft has been a very therapeutic endeavor. Through the light that passes through each piece, my Sun is able to shine and be seen.
